I like the Legion solid with surface, lane shine, 1000 thru 4000 on the ball spinner, polished, sheen. Almost any way I can get it. If you have read any of my past post once I find a ball that is versatile, I am extremely happy. The Legion Solid gives me the assurance I can play with it on almost any condition. I was able to use it in league one night with the box surface played way in so I would be away from the track area. The Legion Solid stayed on the path then gradually made its way to the pocket. I was impressed the ball wasn’t DOA at the pocket, it didn’t catch something down lane and dive left into the 1-5. The Legion Solid had that smooth easy controlled readable reaction I enjoy seeing. I bowled with the Legion Solid a few more times just to get that lane polish look, and I also wanted to see how long it took for the lane polish just in case I like the box surface better. The Legion Solid seems to roll even better with the surfaces I mention in the first sentence of this post. Rightfully so I seem to get better pin carry now that the Legion Solid seems to store more energy. I have played straighter as well as created a big angle, the Legion Solid doesn’t have much it cannot do. If you are looking for a bowling ball that can be used on just about any lane condition, and you get the bonus of changing the cover with surface adjustments. I would suggest giving the Legion Solid a try.
