Stealth Hybrid

The Track Stealth Hybrid is OMG GOOOOOD!!!! When I originally drilled this ball, I thought this was going to be a replacement for my GB4 Hybrid. Drilling it exactly the same as my GB4 Hybrid, this ball packs a punch with a great midlane read and was very angular for me. With a slight surface adjustment, this ball is out of my bag early in tournaments where oil is still present and allows a lot of versatility from playing right, middle, or left on the approach. This is a great ball when the Stealth Solid is getting very lazy downlane.

Stealth Hybrid - House Patterns

Went with my go to layout Pin above the ring finger. Stealth Hybrid is the best Stealth so far in my opinion. I loved the Legion series, the kinetic series, the tactix series but none of them rolls as well as the Stealth Hybrid. Change the surface, leave the surface, clean it, don’t clean it, the Stealth Hybrid will find a way to dig through the oil then through the pins. The stealth was a little early and had times where it didn’t want to consistently finish through the pins, the stealth pearl seemed a tad to long or a too sharp off the friction. Stealth Hybrid is in a league of its own. I have had some streak stopping nine pins with it but that’s ok, we are going to love on the Stealth Hybrid for a while. The other thing I like from the Stealth Hybrid it can be that benchmark ball to let you know what the lanes are doing. If the volume is low it will stand up sooner then you want key indictor this might not be the ball to use or move zones. If you are seeing a bit too much push straighten it up. Very reliable shape and read from the Stealth Hybrid. I have been playing with the surface a lot and still haven’t found one I don’t like so now the key is finding a surface I love or is it good no matter. I will certainly find out!!!!

The Stealth Hybrid is a very strong, high flaring , great looking ball. this ball gets down the lane and has a very strong but controlled hook motion through the pins. I was able to play up the boards on a fresh house shot and as the lanes transitioned I was able to move in and create a strong angle to the pocket with very little effort. I did not have any of the other stealths nor the theorem, however I truly believe this is possibly the best of both worlds in one ball.

Stealth hybrid, the first stealth to get HK 22 and it does not disappoint whatsoever. I drilled mine.75x5x20 and this ball is super clean through the front of the lane with a smooth motion to the pocket. This ball fits perfectly between the stealth pearl and the stealth.

I've recently had a chance to drill the recently released Track Stealth Hybrid. I had very good luck with the original Track Stealth so I was definitely interested in this ball. This ball further intrigued me as it shares the same coverstock as the Track Theorem, one of my favorite asymmetric core releases over the last 8 months or so. In a nutshell, while working at the trade show at Foxwoods, basically the Track Stealth Hybrid was best described as a "baby Theorem". The Stealth Hybrid features the original Stealth symmetric core as the original Stealth (low RG/high diff) wrapped by a Prime Response Hybrid coverstock with the HK-22 base colored in raven and navy blue. I drilled 2, one is with my favorite pin down layout- 60 x 5 x 70, the other I drilled with a stronger pin placement pin up. As box finish is the factory compound, I went over each one with a 2000 Siaair pad. The videos were shot on the new Bowlero Worcester THS which is basically a modified Kegel High Street.

The thing that always impressed me about the Theorem was as an asymmetric piece, how easily it got down the lane and how quick it was off the spot. I think the description of the Track Stealth Hybrid as a "baby Theorem" is very appropriate. The Stealth Hybrid did show a little more length as evidenced by the Theorem getting a trip 4 and the Stealth Hybrid being dead flush on similar shots. Even though as I've gotten old I've had to learn to keep my angles a little more in front of me and not open up as much, for fun I thought I'd try and move an arrow or so left and using more rotation, really open up. I wanted to see if the Stealth Hybrid with its quicker response would work. With what the Stealth Hybrid showed, I can do that with ease as well! The difference between the two was that I was a board or 2 further right with the Stealth Hybrid. But both showed a very quick response when they saw friction. In all honesty, given the amount of friction in our new house shot, I would definitely be starting with a slower response piece of equipment to blend out the pattern. But once the pattern transitions, I could easily see the Stealth Hybrid in play. Generally, I could easily see the Stealth Hybrid at its best when the lanes are transitioning and the player needs to move left and open up. Alternatively, it could also be in play perhaps on a medium volume fresh pattern that has some distance to it. Basically, if you liked the Theorem, you'll absolutely like the Stealth Hybrid!
