HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. — Track bowling has decided the time has come for the company to release the third in its 7 Series and the first “Track”-tion bowling ball of that series.
The manufacturer’s intent with the 715T is for it to be more aggressive and stronger than the wildly popular 505T, which was the hottest selling ball for the Track brand to date since joining the Ebonite brand. Track engineers set out to accomplish this feat by using an all new UMP GEN 4T coverstock, which will cover more territory on the lane, helping to carve through the head oil.
In addition to the new coverstock, Track also utilized a new finishing process. The 715T goes through three-steps of the finishing process — 500, 1000 and 2000 Abralon® sanded — to get the desired length down lane from this ball on medium- heavy to medium oiled lane conditions.
The asymmetrical Catback core has remained unchanged and still has a 0.015 intermediate differential, which gives this ball unbelievable striking power.
The 715T will have great shelf appeal with a primary color combination of red, yellow, and blue.
As with all new Track products, the Track 715T will include a microfiber cleaning pouch with instructions on its use. Track feels that this will be a great addition to help customers maintain the performance and life of their products. The Track 715T will be available in 12 to 16 pounds and will be released worldwide on Oct. 7, 2010.
