Dan Schaden of Baltimore, Md., found himself in the winner’s circle of a recent VMSBT (Virginia Maryland Scratch Bowlers Tour) tournament at the Brunswick Perry Hall Bowling Center, in Perry Hall, Md.
Schaden, using a combination of his Track 930T, 505C and Rising, stepped up in the 9th and 10th frames and threw a couple of clutch strikes to secure his victory over Warren Wiggins, 212 to 191.
“I kept reminding myself to just make good shots and be solid at the line,” Schaden said. “I practice at least two or three times a week with either my dad, Dan Schaden, Sr., or my girlfriend, Samantha Williams, so I was pretty confident in my ability to make shots. The Track equipment I was using helped greatly, as it gave me some room and some timely carry!”
This was Schaden’s second VMSBT title, the other win coming at the same bowling center but on a completely different oil pattern.
“My first title was on the PBA Viper pattern and this one on the USBC Masters condition. Both of my titles have been with Track equipment,” Schaden said. “On the Masters pattern my equipment allowed me to play outside of ten, which was a part of the lane that no one else was able to play! This was a key part of my victory.”
“We are very proud of Dan,” said Paul Figliomeni, Track Brand Manager. “We are excited to have a hand in his recent tournament victory. Keep up the good work, Dan, and we look forward to hearing about more victories soon!”
