HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. — Ebonite International, Inc., has designated three bowling industry Internet retailers as “National House Accounts,” announced Vice President of Sales and Marketing Bob Reid.
The retailers affected by this policy change are: bowlingball.com; bowling.com; and bowlersparadise.com, Reid said.
Effective Nov. 1, 2010, these Internet retailers can only purchase directly from Ebonite International, Inc. Distributors are no longer permitted to sell any Ebonite International-branded products to Internet retail accounts designated as a “National House Account,” he said.
The brands of Ebonite International, Inc. include Ebonite, Hammer, Columbia 300, Track, Robby’s and Powerhouse™.
In addition, Ebonite International has adopted a policy that allows National House Account Internet retailers to remain free to establish its own resale prices. This policy, however, stipulates that Ebonite International will, without assuming any liability, cancel all orders and will indefinitely refuse to accept any new orders from any National House Account Internet retailer verified by Ebonite International to have sold any of the company’s branded bowling balls at a price less than the established and announced minimum net retail sales price, according to Reid.
