HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – Montreal’s Mark Buffa continued to show The Player’s Tour, held in Southern Ontario Canada, that he means business this season.
Buffa, a former collegiate bowler at powerhouse Wichita State University, picked up his third Player’s Tour victory of the season on April 10th at Parkway Lanes in St-Catharines, Ontario.
“What a feeling,” Buffa exclaimed. “To have won one time on the tour was thrilling enough, but to win three times in one season is amazing!”
“My first win of the season was also at Parkway Lanes back in September, in which I used my Columbia 300 Full Swing. My second victory came in February with a Track 505C and this last victory I used a combination of the Columbia 300 Full Swing, Track 505A, and Track 505C,” Buffa explained.
Buffa has spent a large portion of his time recently fine tuning his game and is looking to carry his recent success into the World Championships.
“I’ve been working hard on my game getting ready for the Men’s World Championships this August and it looks as if the hard work has been paying off, but I’m not going to stop now!”
“We’re thrilled to hear about Mark’s success,” said Mike Quitter, Ebonite International’s Vice President/International. “He’s definitely going to be one to watch at the World Championships, and we wish him well!”
Buffa sends a special thank you to his father, girlfriend (and Wichita State alum) Caroline Lagrange, and Mike Quitter for all of their help and support throughout the year.
