BECK NEARS 900 SERIES WITH TRACK 505A BOWLING BALL

David Beck showed up for his league at Capital Lanes in Tallahassee, Fla., on “April Fool’s Day,” but the scores he bowled were certainly no joke.

Beck set the Tallahassee city record Thursday night when he bowled games of 289, 278, and 289, for an astounding 856 series with his Track 505A bowling ball.

This record-setting performance came mere weeks after Beck achieved the rare feat of bowling a perfect game on the Kegel Dead Man’s Curve sport pattern, while also using his new 505A bowling ball.

“It feels incredible to be able to have these bowling accomplishments, but to have them so close together is something that thousands of bowlers dream of doing,” Beck said.

Beck started the evening with the first ten strikes before leaving a solid 7 pin for 289. Game two started with a turkey followed by a pesky 4-9 split, which he promptly converted, before striking out for 278. Finally, game three saw David string the first ten strikes again before leaving a 10 pin and ending with another 289 game.

“I have been so fortunate to do this,” Beck continued. “I give many thanks to Track for producing great equipment, to my former collegiate coach Michael Fine, and to my peers for their support!”

“Track Bowling would like to send David a sincere congratulation on his recent success,” said Paul Figliomeni, Track Brand Manager.  “We are proud of him for his recent accomplishments and are thrilled that he continues to make headlines using our products.”
